🌿 The North Light House

📍 Vadodara, India
Type: Residential | Area: 1,500 sq. ft.
Architect: Isheet Sharma

Overview:
A vision rooted in functionality, light, and future-ready living — The North Light House was born from a client’s wish to transform their aging home into a vibrant, sustainable space. After assessing the existing structure, a decision was made to start anew — crafting a residence that not only met their evolving needs but embraced natural light, ventilation, and Vastu principles.

The brief was concise: a 4-bedroom home, with a double-height living room that feels expansive and bright. True to its name, the home features a prominent north-facing window that fills the central space with soft, consistent daylight — creating a calming rhythm and visual openness throughout.

To complete the architectural expression, terrace pergolas were introduced, providing both functionality and aesthetic balance, complementing the slab cut-outs without relying on heavy cantilevered projections.

The North Light House is a thoughtful blend of form, energy, and environment — a home built not just for now, but for generations ahead.
